Dr. Michael Walsh obtained his M.D. from the University of Calgary and will complete his post-doctoral fellowship with Dr. David Jayne at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, U.K. Dr. Walsh’s training will focus on epidemiology and clinical research. In particular, Dr. Walsh will be involved in multi-centre clinical trials in vasculitis and lupus nephritis. Lupus nephritis is a common cause of glomerulonephritis and is an important cause of chronic kidney disease.
